About Serenely Bliss

Being a wife and mother can sometimes be challenging. It becomes difficult to juggle the day to day responsibility of home on top of working a full -time job. After many nights of discussion with my loving husband about the desire to go deeper into the word of God and trying to figure out how to get it all in, I began to pray and ask God, what to do.

My husband suggested starting a small group that consists of women like me (Busy Working Women) who can come together and study the Bible. Of course with my schedule, I didn't have time for that. I continued to seek God and ask Him to show me what He would have me do. Almost a year passed and I was still trying to figure it out. In 2012, I participated in the Daniel Fast with my church. During the days I participated, I asked God to show me what he would have me do this year that is within His will for me.

Later a desire to write was rekindled. I decided to trust God and see where it would lead. Someone who I respect and consider a mentor in my daily profession shared a link to an online Bible Study that she had come across. She had no idea that what she sent was confirmation for me. When I took a look at the link, I was immediately inspired to start my own Online Devotional, Serenely Bliss. This ultimately led to the publishing of my first book that consists of a collection of 36 of my favorite devotions.
